End-to-end encrypted

Chats that stay between you.

Timgioh.lol chats run peer to peer and every message is end-to-end encrypted in your browser. Nothing is stored, nothing is logged, and when the chat ends there's nothing left to find.

  • Messages never land on an Timgioh.lol server
  • No history, no logs, no chat database
  • Invite only, the key lives in the link
How the encryption works

Free for everyone. No account, no email, no phone number.

Write a message

Open a room

You get an invite link to send to your friends.

Got an invite?

Paste the full link, including the part after #.

Message path

Browser to browser. We see nothing.

Most chat apps send your messages through their servers, where they can be read, stored or scanned. Here the two browsers open a direct WebRTC channel, and each message is locked with AES-256 before it even leaves your device.

Why it exists

Made for people who'd rather not trust a server.

Every piece was picked so there's nothing on our side worth breaking into.

Real end-to-end encryption

AES-256-GCM on top of WebRTC's own encryption. The key is made in your browser, not by us.

No message storage

Refresh the tab and the history is gone. There's no chat database to leak, because there is none.

Invite-only links

A room only exists while its host is there. Share the link with people you trust, nobody else gets in.

No account needed

No sign-up, no email, no phone number. Pick a name and you're in.

Works in any browser

No app, no extension, no install. Open the link on your phone or PC and talk.

Disappearing messages

The host can make messages vanish after a minute, and clear the chat for everyone at any time.

Nothing to hand over

You can't leak a message you never had.

Most chat apps keep your messages on their servers. That makes them something that can be read, scanned, leaked or requested later.

Timgioh.lol chats skip that part. Two browsers open an encrypted connection, talk, and close it. We never have your conversation, so there's nothing to scan, hand over or lose.

No plaintext on our side

The key is made in your browser and only travels inside the invite link.

No logs, no backups

There is no chat table in our database. Not an empty one, none at all.

The host owns the room

Host leaves, room is gone. No copies left behind anywhere.

Standard, checkable tech

WebRTC and the Web Crypto API, built into every modern browser. Anyone can check what leaves the tab.

Four steps

How it works

01

Open a room

Your browser makes a room code and a fresh key. Nothing is created on our side.

02

Send the link

The link holds the room code and the key. That's the whole invite.

03

Browsers connect

They find each other and open a direct, encrypted channel between them.

04

Talk, then close

When the host leaves, the room ends and every message is gone.

Common questions

Yes. Open a room, send the invite link to your friends and talk. Everything runs from browser to browser, right on this page.

Yes, a room fits up to 10 people. The person who opened the room keeps it alive and passes messages on, so when they leave, the chat ends for everyone.

Yes, free for everyone. No account, no subscription, no small print.

Yes. Every message is locked with AES-256-GCM in your browser before it leaves your device, on top of WebRTC's own encryption. The key is made in your browser and only lives in the invite link after the #, a part browsers never send to a server.

No. There is no chat database and no API route for chats. Messages only exist in the open tabs, so refresh or close the chat and they are gone. The host can also make messages disappear after a minute.

Possibly. The browsers connect directly to each other, and with any direct WebRTC connection the people in the room can find out each other's IP address. If that matters to you, use a VPN. The free PeerJS service that helps browsers find each other only sees connection setup, never a message.

Yes. Anyone with the full invite link can join, pick a name and talk. No sign-up, no email, no phone number.

The room ends and every message is gone. Nothing is left behind anywhere, so if you want to keep something, copy it before the host closes the chat.

Nothing from your chats. We never have your messages, so there is nothing to read, scan, hand over or leak, and chats aren't tied to your account.

Private chats, no strings attached.

How it works

To find each other, browsers use the free PeerJS service (it only sees connection setup, never a message). If a direct connection isn't possible, the already encrypted data can go through a relay. Whoever started the chat keeps it alive: when they leave, it ends for everyone.
